Antique buffet in Art Deco style

This antique Art Deco sideboard captivates with the elegance of its lines and the delicacy of its sculpted floral decorations. Its understated and balanced design allows it to naturally transcend eras and find its place in both contemporary interiors and characterful homes. Carefully restored in my workshop, it now reveals the full potential of this antique furniture. The Corde shade from Eléonore Déco adds softness and modernity, while the wooden top provides a warm contrast that highlights the natural beauty of its grain. The sideboard consists of two drawers at the top and a storage space closed by two doors, equipped with an internal shelf. Functional and generous, it will accommodate not only tableware but also linens, books, or any other everyday items. The original handles and lock have been carefully preserved to maintain the authenticity of this piece. The furniture has been fully sandblasted, then sanded, before being repainted in the Corde shade from Eléonore Déco. The top has been lightly stained to soften the marks of time while preserving the natural grain of the wood, and then protected with a clear matte varnish ensuring a durable and resistant finish. Like all antique furniture, it retains a few discreet marks of its history, testifying to its authenticity and the time that has shaped it.
