Unique and authentic coffee table

Today I present to you this coffee table with a unique and authentic character. The wood section that makes it up comes from a giant sequoia that was located in the Tronçais forest in Allier 🍃. Although this forest is predominantly made up of oaks, it was decided some time ago to plant large sequoias there for ornamental and experimental purposes. It is therefore a privilege to have been able to work on this quite remarkable piece with visible growth rings (I stopped at 200☝️) that was cut at a height of 17 metres. It features a lobed cut in the shape of a clover with four irregular lobes, and to properly support this top, I chose a needle-like base in black steel for its understated and contemporary look 🙌. Height: 49.5 cm. Length (at its widest): 100 cm. Width (at its widest): 88 cm.
