An iconic piece of offices from yesteryear, these two joined notary cabinets from the 1950s embody both understated elegance and the functionality typical of professional furniture of the time. Carefully restored, they now serve as a unique decorative element, perfect for adding character, storage, and a touch of authenticity to your interior. Materials: oak front and solid pine structure. Features: these notary cabinets, also known as minutiers, each consist of three columns of eight rows, providing 48 storage compartments closed by a door equipped with a silver metal knob. The knobs, of the same shape and size, show slight variations due to their period manufacturing, contributing to the authenticity of the piece. Restoration: the notary cabinets have been thoroughly cleaned and then treated with a protective oil, which has restored the shine to the patinated varnish of the front. The interventions were carried out with respect for the material and original aesthetics. Condition: solid and heavy, the notary cabinets are in superb condition with some normal signs of wear for their age. All flaps close properly, and any faulty hinges have been replaced or repaired. Dimensions per cabinet: L112 x D29 x H154. Compartments: L35 x D28.5 x H18.
