Large rosewood sideboard, designed by Severin Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. It opens with two sliding doors and four drawers in the lower part. The two sliding doors reveal two large compartments with height-adjustable shelves and three trays. The right-hand shelves are wide, while the left-hand ones are narrower, as can be seen in the photos with the doors open. At the top left are three small trays with black felt bottoms, ideal for storing small, flat and delicate items such as jewelry, watches, tablets or smartphones, but also cutlery if the piece of furniture is placed in a dining room. The back drawers are of different heights, two small ones in the center and two higher ones on each side, they are made of light wood inside. Beautifully made and in perfect condition, this piece of furniture has no scratches, dents, scuffs, or traces of moisture on the top. Note the very elegant finishes, the quality of the materials and the dovetail joints of the drawers. The assembly of the legs and the cabinet with beveled corners is typical of Severin Hansen's work.
