Louis XVI half-moon commode in mahogany and marble

Louis XVI style demi-lune commode in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, dating from the 18th century. This piece features two doors with original functional locks accompanied by four keys. The veined marble top in warm tones (red, yellow, blue) offers an elegant and colourful finish characteristic of the period. The façade is distinguished by its gilded bronze ornaments and brass dotted details. The tapered fluted legs and architectural elements framing the doors testify to the craftsmanship of the time. A restored indentation is visible on the left door. The overall condition is very good, with a patina consistent with the age and use of the antique furniture. Dimensions: H 91 cm X W 100 cm X D 45 cm. Weight: 60 kg. Condition: Restored with very good overall condition.
