This beautiful, elegant and airy candlestick will fit just as well on a sideboard or chest of drawers as on a festive table. It would be called "medusa" for the free, sprawling shape of its four arms. It could date from the 60s to the 80s and be Italian-made, although I am not sure. It is a beautiful combination of silver and gold metal that reflects the light beautifully. I cleaned it carefully, particularly with Argentil to remove the black patina that tarnished the silver parts. The branches (made up of two arms) are movable relative to each other, and according to my research, this is intentional, to be able to change the general shape of the candlestick. Under its base, it has a cardboard with green felt. It is very stable because it is relatively heavy (about 1.3 kg). It is in good overall condition, shiny metal, no major flaws, but it still has some signs that testify to its age or use: on the base there remains a dull area that I have not managed to clean, and probably small areas where my cleaning was not meticulous enough to remove all the black patina (for example, there are some small traces, not very visible, in the grooves of the arms), the gilding of the cups under the sockets is a little less shiny, flashy than the gilding of the parts on the sockets. This candlestick measures 18 cm in maximum height, approximately 27 cm in width.
