Superb Scandinavian storage unit, circa 1960. Beautifully crafted, it is composed of 2 stackable and independent parts: in the lower part, a chest of drawers on straight legs and in the upper part, a bookcase. Designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen, it is a Danish HG Furniture edition. The elements are stamped inside with a black "Furnituremakers Danish Control" sticker. The chest of drawers has 4 drawers with integrated round handles, which emphasize the elegant sobriety of its lines. The bookcase section has 6 modular shelves and sliding glass doors. In a very beautiful vintage condition, the set offers a large storage capacity while having a small footprint. Made of teak, it will easily fit into a bedroom, an office or a hallway. A functional, aesthetic and designer piece of furniture, perfect for small spaces. The set is clean, healthy and perfectly stable. It has been fully cleaned and is ready to be installed.
