Large round serving dish in Ironstone – Choisy-le-Roi, model "L"

Boulenger et Cie factory in Choisy-le-Roi (late 19th / early 20th century). • Model: "Lyonnais", featuring an iconic and very poetic midnight blue design, adorned with birds on flowering branches, highlighted by an elegant geometric border. • Condition: Beautiful vintage condition for a piece of this age. The decoration is very fine and the earthenware is quite shiny. There are two small natural oxidation spots in the centre (see photos), which are witnesses to its history and authenticity, and do not detract from its charm.
