Holmegaard "Heart" carafe, Doctor Schnaps series (stopper/aquavit glass). Design: Michael Bang - 1974. Condition: Very good. Height: 16 cm, Diameter: 9 cm. Holmegaard, originally founded in 1825, is Denmark's oldest glass manufacturer. Although much of its early work is considered unoriginal and uninfluential, the designs of Jacob E. Bang, Per Lütken, and Michael, Jacob E. Bang's son, are credited with transforming the company into a center of Danish design between the 1930s and 1980s.
