Enfilade in solid elm by Maison REGAIN, 1970. Facade opening with three doors featuring a horizontal and vertical wood assembly. The door handles are carved from the piece of wood, with the top and sides fixed by dovetails. The interior conceals a large shelf on the left and in the centre, with storage on the right including two drawers. The door closing system is magnetic. A French publisher from the 1960s to the 1980s, Maison REGAIN represents artisanal excellence. Rather than centralising production in a soulless factory, the company had its pieces made in various workshops across France, ensuring collaboration with the best craftsmen in each specialty. While the brand took precedence over ego, one name stands out: Roland Haeusler. He designed the majority of the architectural lines, massive yet so gentle, that characterise the Regain style. In good overall condition (slight signs of use). Length 200 cm / Width 50 cm / Height 90 cm. (You can find the straw chairs and table from MAISON Regain on the website.).
