Pair of Gispen Dining Chairs

This is a vintage desk chair from the Mid-Century Modern period, designed in the style of Dutch designer Tijsseling. The piece is defined by its clean, functionalist lines, combining a slender metal frame with the warmth of wooden armrests and practical black upholstery. Constructed with a durable grey-finished metal frame, the chair features a seat and backrest upholstered in black Skai. Contrasting wooden armrests provide an organic touch to the otherwise industrial aesthetic. With dimensions of 83 cm in height, 57 cm in width, and 51 cm in depth, and a comfortable seat height of 46 cm, it is well-proportioned for a variety of desk and table setups. This chair is presented in good vintage condition, showing a character consistent with its age and history of use. Its versatile design makes it a suitable addition to a home office, study, or as a distinctive side chair in a living area.
