Set of 6 design sled armchairs in Bauhaus style by Matteo Grassi and Marcel Breuer 1970's. Comfortable and elegant model in the style of the iconic B34 chairs from Hungarian Breuer and Italian MG5 chairs from Italian Grassi. This timeless design was originally created by Marcel Breuer, a famous Hungarian designer, and then produced with designers Mart Stam and Matteo Grassi. The seat and backrest are in black leather and the structure in chrome aluminum. The base, structure and armrests consist of a tubular frame made of chromed metal model without leather on the armrests. Very good seating comfort the bottoms are held by two chrome tensioning arches ensuring the longevity and comfort of these armchairs. Each armchair/chair is numbered from 2 to 97. Although they are not signed, these armchairs clearly have the style of Marcel Breuer's Cantilever Bauhaus B34 chairs. This Hungarian designer was inspired by bicycle handlebars of the early 20th century for the structure of his chairs. The minimalist and timeless design of these seats makes them modern and characterful pieces, representative of the Bauhaus style. Bauhaus design conveys the idea of a minimalist, timeless, clean and simple style, still very popular today.
