Austrian flower chandelier by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, Austria, 1950s.

Vintage design. Rare ceiling light by Rupert Nikoll based on a design by Emil Stejnar. An imposing design inspired by the plant world. Curved brass arms arranged radially around a central core, each arm forming a loop with the ends pointing upwards and downwards. Each brass arm ends with an E14 socket surrounded by a basket divided into fine white rods, with faceted glass balls on every second rod to refract the light. The chandelier is suspended from a brass rod with a trumpet-shaped ceiling mount. The chandelier is in very good condition with signs of use and patina. The brass surface has been polished to achieve a high shine and the cables have been renewed.
