I am offering a table clock designed by Angelo Mangiarotti, originally in 1956 for the owner of an Italian yacht. The object was then produced in 1960 by Secticon, awarded the IF Design Award in 1963. NOTE: this is a vintage example, not a German reissue from 2002 (which does not have the "secticon" inscription on the dial and is marked "made in Germany"). The base, made of molded plastic, rests on a metal disc for stability. The movement is quartz, powered by a 1.5 volt battery. It works perfectly. Black dial with applied hours marked by double batons, whose width increases every hour. Straight hour and minute hands, in white. Red second hand. SECTICON inscribed between the first and second hours. At six o'clock, the inscription "swiss made - pat . peu lic. ato" The dial is covered with curved plexiglass. Note the chips not visible on the lower edge of the plexiglass, due to the fixing system.
