Duo of brutalist Art-popular candlesticks 50s

Both candle holders are in very good condition, no breakage, no missing. They are made of wrought iron for the arms, and turned wood for the bases. They are very patinated, especially the forged metal parts, whose black paint reveals the metal where it is worn, here and there. The wooden bases have kept their original varnish, and can be waxed from time to time to maintain their beautiful patina. The candle holders are unique pieces, ingenious assemblies of some skilled handyman, probably from reused materials that he had at hand. The dimensions indicated in the advertisement are those of the candle holder with two arms. The single candle holder is 23.5 cm high, a little higher than the other, while the plinths, as well as the cobs are almost identical for both pieces. Very nice french regional work from the 50s.
