1980s “Sarapis” bar stools by Philippe Starck for Driade, Italy

An eye-catching set of three bar stools, model “sarapis”, designed by philippe starck and manufactured by driade in italy around 1980. A modern, most eye-catching design! The stools are made of high quality olive green lacquered metal. They have a rectangular shape with a curve coming down from under the seat that transitions into the tubular backrest. This tubular and bent structure can also be seen underneath at the foot support, with a chrome plated finish. The seats have a perforated finish. All together this makes the stools very appealing and interesting, a lovely addition to the interior! Sold as a set – the price is for the three stools together! Each stool remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
