Curule chair / "dagobert" / carved walnut throne. Second french renaissance, circa 1880. In carved solid walnut, with acanthus leaves, mascaron/ demon head / lion, "bushels" motifs of the back of the chair derived from the royal lily flower. In superb condition, professional restoration: stripping, treatment against xylophages, polished wax finish. Beautiful patina.
