Set of two charming cockerels, very original by their shape, signed forah. Forah is the potters' workshop created in 1931 by rené anchierri, a recognized ceramist, trained in the workshop of paul jacquet. The workshop closed during the second world war and reopened in 1946 until 1957. These two cockroaches date from before 1957, and perhaps between 1931 and 1939. They still have their original label. In addition to being very decorative, they are very practical with their integrated cup. They are in very good condition for their age, no cracks, just a tiny lack under the base of one, a small blue spot on the other (maybe original?), the enamelling of one is a little less smooth than that of the other, and a little wear under the pedestals. They measure 5 cm in height, 10.5 cm in diameter at the corolla, 4 cm in diameter inside the shell part itself. They each weigh about 180 g.
