Gien faience candy box with peonies

Lovely candy box in fine Gien earthenware, hand-painted decoration, still for sale on their site, this one dates from the 1960s as evidenced by the stamp used until 1971. In perfect condition except for a hidden micro chip on the circle below (last photo, on the right at the bottom). A pretty classic that celebrates the beauty of peonies. Height: 9cm peony bud included, diameter 16 cm.
