Magnificent and large baluster-shaped vase in Canton porcelain (Famille Rose / Rose Medallion), richly hand-decorated. The body and neck are adorned with cartouches alternating between lively court scenes featuring traditional characters in period attire (scholars and ladies of the court in interiors) and naturalistic decorations composed of peony flowers, foliage, and stylised floral patterns. The shoulder of the vase is embellished with small Chilong dragons in relief painted in iron red, while the neck is flanked by two stylised handles in the shape of Fô dogs (mythological guardian lions). The colour palette is bright and vibrant, dominated by pink enamels, turquoise greens, iron red, and delicate touches of gilding, particularly on the neck. Mark and Origin: Under the base, the vase bears a double mark in iron red: A large apocryphal square seal of Emperor Qianlong (Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi). An explicit manufacturing mention in three characters: "澳門造" (Made in Macao). This characteristic signature allows for precise dating of this piece to the second half of the 20th century (1960-1980), when the workshops in Macao skillfully perpetuated the style of Chinese export porcelain. Condition of the object. Overall condition: Very good vintage condition. The colours and enamels have retained all their brilliance and freshness. Neck and Base: Perfectly intact. The neck shows no chips, cracks, or restorations (see detail photos). Wear: Light normal and superficial wear of the gilding on the lip of the neck, attesting to its authenticity and age. Dimensions. Height: 38 cm. Diameter at the neck: 13 cm. Weight: 1.5 kg.
