Set of six Baumann bistro chairs, France, 1950s

Set of six French bistro chairs made by Baumann in the 1950s. The chairs are made of beech and feature gently curved backs, moulded wooden seats, and the characteristic bent supports of Baumann furniture. The wood has a warm honey finish that highlights the natural grain. Their simple and balanced design makes them suitable as dining chairs as well as for a café or kitchen.
