Old chimney grid 6-bars in cast iron and brass

Vintage cast iron fireplace grill/log holder decorated with 1 brass ball (the other is missing) This accessory is placed inside the chimney and is used to accommodate the logs which, placed slightly high in the hearth, benefits from optimal combustion. This solid support also prevents partially consumed logs from collapsing, thanks to the curved bars. This model will rather be suitable for a medium – large focus.
