Veneta Lumi Z1-90 desk lamp, Italian postmodern design, 1990

Superb vintage desk lamp Veneta Lumi, model Z1-90, featuring a graphic and colourful design characteristic of postmodern Italian design. Its composition combines a dark blue base, a yellow vertical stem, a green adjustable arm, and a red lampshade. The black and red central joint allows for the adjustment of the arm's angle and gives the lamp its particularly dynamic silhouette. The combination of simple geometric shapes and bold colours directly evokes the Memphis and postmodern aesthetic of the late 20th century. A highly decorative piece that works equally well as a desk lamp and as a true design object.
