Very nice painting, oil on isorel representing a peasant auvergnat sits on a chair and leaned on a table with a bottle of wine, a glass half full and a loaf of bread. One imagines an end of the day after a hard day of work. This painting is signed lower right e chabrier and dated 1953. Étienne chabrier was a painter born in 1882 and died in 1973 listed in the painters of auvergne and bourbonnais. Beautiful representation and beautiful testimony of life, of a time when we settle for little. Condition: small lacks of paint, scratches and damaged edges. It deserves a framework to highlight it and hide certain defects. It has a label on the back of the independent artists foreziens of the time. Size: l 33 cm X h 24 cm.
