An exceptional pair of mid-century French ceramics by Charles Cart, crafted at the renowned Vallauris workshop Le Cyclope. These pieces feature the studio's signature 'Fat Lava' glaze in a striking cerulean blue over a deep black background. The set includes a pitcher and a handled casserole, both handmade and showcasing a richly textured, volcanic-style glaze. The pitcher retains its original label reading: 'Émaux des Glaciers – fait à la main – Cyclope – M. Déposé.' Both items are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Dimensions: Pitcher - 22 cm H × 16 cm D (approx. 8.7" H × 6.3" D); Handled casserole - 11 cm D × 4.5 cm H × 17 cm L with handle (approx. 4.3" D × 1.8" H × 6.7" L). A rare collectible set, perfect for any modern or mid-century ceramics collection.
