Oak farmhouse table 260cm

Very nice oak farmhouse table. Beautiful patina of wood for this large family table (258cm X 84cm) that will bring a touch of authenticity to your interior. It has a side drawer with shell handle and a large drawer at the end of the table. It is solid, stable and high enough (75cm high) to put all types of chair and be comfortable for the passage of the legs. Probably from the 1900s. I know she had been in her old family for over 70 years. Good general condition but xylophagous holes are to be noted. Few holes on the tray but in greater numbers on the legs of the table (see photos). This table straight out of a barn has been treated thoroughly and rigorously to make it healthy. Indeed, several layers of xylophene were applied with also injection of product into the holes and this was repeated over several days. Xylophene was not applied to the top of the tray and after this treatment, the table was rinsed abundantly with water. The table is therefore healthy, the xylophages have been neutralized and no additional holes are to be expected. These holes are therefore part of the experience of the table, constitute its patina and they do not alter the solidity of the feet. For a better finish, hardener was also applied under the feet.
