Black enamel bauhaus hanging lamp from the brand schaco from the 1920s. The german lamp manufacturer schanzenbach & co from frankfurt has produced many special industrial lighting. From workshop lamps to pendant lamps for factories. Unfortunately, many have been lost in the past. Hence, they are very rare today. This lamp is marked on all porcelain parts with the logo. The porcelain cup with the hanging hook is characteristic of this brand. This is where the power wires go in and they are connected inside with the power to the fitting. The porcelain fitting is adjustable in height by a clamping mechanism to adjust the size of the light beam. The enamel cover has some light damage in the enamel here and there, as can be seen in the photos. This lamp has been cleaned, restored where necessary and fitted with a new twisted fabric cord.
