Charming soup with a floral decoration in green blue, finely drawn. The motifs (leaves, daisies...) and the leaf-shaped handles for the soup pot and in the shape of a vegetable shoot for the lid, recalls the art nouveau style. It has a buffer difficult to read but after some research and comparisons (and especially the eyes of my son, much better than mine!), we found that it was the factory a. Lebacqz - mr. Bouchart in st amand, (visual with the monkey). This soup from the end of the 19th or early 20th century. Mr. Lebacqz founded this earthenware factory in st amand in 1892. This is the lucerne model. The general condition is pretty good for a soup kitchen more than 100 years old. The lid has its handle intact, which is relatively rare, but it has a crack in the edge up to a little before the center, with a splinter on the crack at the edge of the lid. This is not very visible (see the photos of the lid) but it will have to be taken care of. The soup pot is intact, no cracks, no missing, just a few stains and a slightly worn enamel on the handles and on the top edge. It measures about 24 cm in total height (with lid), 14 cm high without the lid, 19 cm wide at the opening, 27 cm at the widest (with the handles). The whole thing weighs 1.4 kg.
