This is a matte black porcelain vase, whose shape can evoke a chicken. "pollo". It balances on a convex bottom. It was designed by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkela to respond to a request from the German porcelain maker Rosenthal to create a design line, "studio line" corresponding to the 70s. It was given to me in 1972. It is in very good condition, apart from a very slight attenuation of the mattness under the neck in front view.
