Art Deco chandelier from the 1930s.

Elegant French Art Deco ceiling light dating from 1935 to 1940. Original patinated metal structure, adorned with stylised floral motifs characteristic of the transitional period between Art Deco and the modernity of the 1930s. Frosted glass bowl diffusing a soft, warm light. The piece underwent an earlier transformation in the mid-20th century, reflecting the evolution of tastes and uses. This modification gives it a streamlined silhouette while preserving its authenticity and beautiful patina. The glass bowl has a few small chips on the outer edge (invisible once mounted) as well as a fine crack in the centre, at the inner tip, which is not through and is not visible when the piece is installed with its metal cover. These defects are discreet and do not affect either the aesthetics or the sturdiness in normal use. Works perfectly with LED bulbs (low heat emission recommended). Very decorative, ideal in a contemporary, Haussmannian, or vintage-style interior. Dimensions: Height: 81 cm. Diameter: 35.5 cm. Overall in good condition, original patina preserved. Electricity to be adapted according to current standards if necessary.
