Honne vase in white stoneware - Denise Bresciani ceramics

Vase sculpture in white chamotté sandstone whose shape refers to organic forms, it is modeled by hand and shaped with the technique of the columbine. Its interior is enamelled in matt white to allow it to be completely sealed. Unique piece signed. Denise bresciani, born in bergamo, italy, has been living in france for 17 years and has just moved to her new studio in marseille. Architect, designer and ceramist, she orients her ceramic creations by drawing inspiration from the shapes and textures present in nature. After several trips to africa, india, mexico and japan where she was able to know and advance on different techniques related to the earth, denise bresciani now uses only sandstone applied to hand modeling: pinching, plate and columbine. Thus, she uses and experiments, for her unique pieces, various cooking specificities: raku, anagama, reduction and oxidation.
