Rare and iconic piece of furniture designed by the famous Italian architect and designer Matteo Thun for Bieffeplast. Materials: grey painted metal. Matteo Thun is an Italian architect and designer who famously co-founded and produced works under the Memphis Milano group, led by Ettore Sottsass. Thun also co-founded Sottsass Associati, creating more accessible and functional pieces for larger scale manufacturers. Thun designed ceramics, watches, lighting, and furniture, developing a very distinctive and recognizable aesthetic, more subdued in color palette than other Memphis designers, yet more futuristic in form. Please note that the cable of this item may be original and might need replacement. Additionally, items made of Rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend the delivery time by 2 to 4 weeks. Country of manufacture: Italy. This piece is attributed to Matteo Thun and Bieffeplast, but it has no attribution mark. Period: 1980 to 1989. Condition: Good — This vintage item may show some wear, such as scratches and signs of aging.
