Set of four fine porcelain cups, decorated with naturalistic motifs from the late 19th century, typical of French workshops active between 1880 and 1900. The continuous design features delicate branches, blue-green leaves, birds with soft plumage, and pastel butterflies, applied with precise lines reminiscent of botanical illustrations. The irregular, slightly gadrooned, and almost polygonal shape gives the pieces a distinctive presence. A gilt rim highlights the edge and handle. Signs of age and use: wear to the gilding on the rims, a few small chips visible on some edges, but no cracks or breaks. The porcelain is luminous, and the decoration is still clearly legible. This type of cup was used for weak tea, infusions, or very strong coffees in the late 19th century; today, they are equally suitable for decorative purposes or for everyday use. The decoration evokes a small, delicate, and serene hanging garden around the cup. Price (set of 4): €28. Keywords: antique porcelain, 19th century, bird and butterfly decoration, vintage French cup, naturalism.
