Chimney bar bulldogs

Very beautiful and old extendable cast iron fireplace bar from the 19th century, featuring two bulldogs. Each dog is lying on a base, with a brass bar in the centre, very fine sculpture. In good overall condition. Base dimensions: length 15 cm x depth 9 cm x height with dog 16 cm; the entire height is 16 cm x length 85 cm at minimum, 1 m at maximum, weight 5.3 kg.
