Vintage solid wood chest of drawers - unique handcrafted creation.

Unique piece fully restored, transformed, and finished by hand. This old solid wood chest of drawers has been completely reimagined to give it a contemporary and elegant aesthetic, while retaining some elements of its original character, notably the marquetry on the sides. The fronts have been entirely handcrafted: each element of the relief has been cut, sanded, and worked individually, then assembled to form this graphic relief pattern. The relief is made of pine, with no prefabricated elements. The original structure has also been transformed: four drawers have been replaced with two drawers and an open niche, ideal for displaying books, vinyl records, decorative objects, or a small turntable. Structure in solid wood. • Fronts with handcrafted relief made of pine. • Cedar Green finish. • Original marquetry carefully preserved on the sides. • Decorative handles in gilded metal. • Slim legs with a brass finish. • Two drawers fully sanded, inside and out. • Interior of the drawers waxed and lined with wallpaper. • Final protection with a high-resistance varnish. Particular attention has been paid to the finishes, including inside the furniture and the drawers. This is a unique handcrafted creation, made by hand and fully transformed from an old piece of furniture.
