Fishing stool chest in wood and green skaï

This very pretty fisherman's chest, which also serves as a stool, is made of wood, with a thermoformed dark green skaï seat from the well-known brand soudexvinyl. It has three compartments, one of which is equipped with separators, each of which closes perfectly thanks to nice functional clasps. It still has its original carrying strap, clean. This chest is in good condition, still very solid, but does not hide its age (it must date from the 50s or 60s): its main defect: a tear in the skaï at the level of a corner of the seat. It is embarrassing, but not prohibitive in my opinion: it will hold another moment, and after that we can always retapiss the seat. Some scratches and small stains on the wood. It also remains the mark of a sticker on the front. And old stains inside: some traces of glue, and moisture stains that remain but the wood is healthy. Depending on the use you want to make of it, you can also paint the interior for an undeniable "cleanliness" effect. The small black plastic skates are in good condition. I cleaned the whole with care and spent a very light layer of varnish outside to make some scratches disappear without removing the charm of his patina. It is 37 cm high, 39 cm wide, 26 cm deep and weighs about 3 kg.
