A striking dry bar cabinet by Italian master designer Aldo Tura, crafted in his signature lacquered goatskin parchment. The arched double doors feature a rich, mottled amber and black tortoiseshell-effect finish, framed in a lighter parchment surround. Brass strap hinges with decorative fleur-de-lis terminals and ornate brass drop-pull handles complete the hardware, while a central brass lock adds an authentic period detail. The cabinet is raised on a sculptural bulbous pedestal base finished in a glossy honey-toned lacquer, giving the piece the silhouette of an oversized table lamp or shrine cabinet — a hallmark of Tura’s distinctive, sculptural approach to furniture design. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with light surface wear and patina consistent with age and use, fully in keeping with the character of the piece.
