Mariani Tucroma set of two leather dining chairs by Guido Faleschini, 1970

These two tucroma chairs from i4mariani are in excellent condition. The dark gray leather of the seat and back cushions is almost new. The chrome frames show no signs of wear or patina. The design of these chairs, with the seat cushion flexibly attached to the upper part via leather straps, offers excellent seating comfort. The attractive lines of the chrome frames, typical of faleschini, harmonize beautifully with the thick leather cushions. Designed by italian architect guido faleschini for i4mariani in 1971, the tucroma chair immediately became a design icon. Founded by the mariani brothers in 1957, i4mariani developed into one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality designer furniture. To mark the 50th anniversary of the tucroma chair in 2021, mariani reissued it.
