Neo-Rococo Living Room Table, 1860

A piece of furniture in the neo-Rococo style. This exquisite table was made of cherry and mahogany wood. The tabletop is profiled, with a molding shaped the same underneath, and supported on a turned pedestal finished with four legs. The ornamentation on the legs is typical of the Rococo style, featuring the Rocaille motif. The grandeur of this living room table is highlighted not only by the legs but also by a rich ornamentation in the form of acanthus leaves on the table pedestal. The table is presented in very good condition and is ready to be placed in an interior.
