Set of 8 Proceram oyster plates

Set of 8 oyster plates in yellow mustard glazed earthenware, produced by Proceram Faïence d’Art, a French manufacturer based in Aubagne (Bouches-du-Rhône). Each plate features six shell-shaped compartments arranged around a central receptacle intended for lemon, vinaigrette, or a dipping sauce. Their relief decoration inspired by the marine world and their sunny hue perfectly evoke the table arts of the 1960s to 1980s. This Provençal production is characteristic of the ceramic craftsmanship of Aubagne, a city historically known for its earthenware and pottery workshops. Dimensions: Diameter 25 cm.
