Scandinavian portfolio table model "half-century" by SAM

Oak and blonde oak veneer dining table, vintage model made in France by SAM in the 1950s. This table is part of the "demi-siècle" range, a flagship collection from its manufacturer known for its French modernist furniture. This modular table can accommodate 2/3 guests in classic mode and 4 to 6 people in open mode. The top is double and unfolds via integrated metal hinges. The 90-degree rotation system of the closed top allows for a stable and centred support when the top is open. The tapered legs in a compass design add elegance to this Scandinavian table. This table fits into smaller spaces. Vintage model in excellent original condition. Preventive treatment against insects, but the furniture is unaffected. There are colour variations on the open top, with a faded colour on one half. The table is healthy, stable, and solid. Dimensions for 2/3 people: 90 cm wide, 75 cm high, 60 cm deep. Dimensions for 4/6 people: 120 cm wide, 73 cm high, 90 cm deep. Height under the top: 68 cm.
