Vintage SECLA Majolica Tray in the Shape of an Apple, Made in Portugal

A rare vintage ceramic tray in the style of majolica, depicting an apple in colours of yellow-brown, red and green. Made in portugal by secla (sociedade de exportção e cerãmica ltd), evident from the stamp on the bottom of the piece: the letter s inscribed in a bulbous vase that has a dot above it. The bottom also has another marking, which seems to read: p3215. Slightly over 23 cm wide. Ca. 21.5 cm tall. Weighs approximately 590 grams. In excellent condition. Has a few surface scratches. Lovely crackled glaze (see close-up photos).
