Description
Sandstone pitcher made by roger collet in vallauris in the 60s and 70s. Roger collet (1933-2008) born in switzerland, graduated from the chavannes rennens ceramics school in 1952, he moved to paris and worked with the cloutier brothers. Then he moved to vallauris in 1956 and collaborated with many ceramists, including roger capron. He opened his own workshop in 1966, produced utilitarian pieces, pitchers, vases, then from 1983, influenced by chinese celadons, he produced monochrome pieces of great purity.
