Art print "etching of a school of dorades" on high-quality paper 250gr/m2. Signed by the artist with a red ink stamp. Certificate of authenticity provided. Framing included, with wooden mouldings and glass. Size 30X42cm. Artist's presentation: A fisherman-artist from the tip of Finistère, the sea has always nourished me. Everywhere, traces mark the foreshore and my mind. To the imprints of the waves on the shores, I add those of my catches on paper. Whether fishing or hunting underwater, I capture fish and molluscs, immersing myself in their natural beauty. Once back, I strive to find the perfect arrangement for their fins, spines, or tentacles. The movement of life must never cease. Then comes the time for pigments: I invent on these bodies the mark I want to see emerge. Each part of the animal is a space for interpretation, a play on texture, dilution, and definition. To transmit or to make disappear, to erase the material or to inscribe its absence: I bring forth new reliefs through the etching, a form transcended from each creature. Finally, I lay a fine sheet of mulberry paper on the animal: under the variations of my touch, the imprint appears. Often, my brushes linger on the paper, chiselling the mark one last time. As a final gesture, I apply my red ink stamp as a signature. I conceive my work as a total practice: I design the artwork from the ocean to the paper.🐟.
