Deep blue blown glass jug by Claude Morin, Dieulefit circa 1970

Blown glass jug by Claude Morin, a key figure in the revival of glass art in France. Based in Dieulefit in the 1970s, he explored new forms and developed an aesthetic language rooted in color and light. This deep blue, mouth-blown glass jug features a globular body with full, balanced lines, topped with a straight neck. A small, sinuous handle, applied with a lively gesture, gives the piece a unique look, somewhere between sobriety and fantasy.
