Very nice piece of french art pottery dembac. Fluid glaze, soft texture and subtle color. Signed with the inscribed "denbac" mark and the number 147, it dates from the period from 1911 to the 1920s. This is the mark of the famous denbac company of vierzon in france, created by the ceramic artist rené denert in partnership with rené-louis balichon in 1911. Denbac had a large network of retail outlets, selling to several fashionable department stores in paris, such as printemps, galeries lafayette. The vase is a rare piece that is in perfect condition.
