Pine wood pendant light "Rakovalkea 60" by Finnbastler, Finland 1960s

Finnbastler was a Finish company who released a large variety of high quality pine wood kit lamps and other pine products in the 1960s and 70s. The "Rakovalkea" consist of layers of thin bent sheets of pine wood veneer attached to a pine wood frame. The whole shade is made from just wood with no joints or screws. Very high quality pine with an amazing transparent shine when lit. This one is BIG, 60 cm wide and it is "new-old stock" that has been stored unused in its carton since the 1960s. I have unpacked and assembled it for the photos and it will be delivered assembled as seen. Comes with a new brown textile cable and a new standard E27 light bulb socket. A very rare piece in mint condition. Original box and catalogue sheet included.
