Set of 4 Model J39 chairs by Borge Mogensen for FDB Mobler, 1970s

Timeless vintage Danish design! This is the Model J39 chair, also called the ‘Peoples Chair’, because you used to find this chair a lot in Danish families. A traditional design from 1947 by Borge Mogensen for FDB Mobler. This set appears to date from the 1970’s. The chair has an oak frame and papercord seat. The originally yellow pastel color is atmospheric and completely hip again. The chairs are sturdy and show minor signs of wear on the paint. The seats have signs of use in the form of light stains conform age. Beautiful in its simplicity! Number of pieces: this set is unique and only 1 set in stock. Period: 1970’s. Origin: Denmark.
