Old Parisian sideboard

This antique Parisian sideboard stands out for its balanced proportions and discreet silhouette, typical of urban interiors of the past. Its shallow depth makes it particularly suitable for modern spaces, where every centimetre counts. Its original white patina, subtly nuanced, softens its lines and gives it a luminous presence without being overpowering. It reveals, in places, the traces of its history, witnesses to daily use and a preserved story. Designed to be as practical as it is aesthetic, this piece offers structured storage: a large drawer at the top and a space closed by two doors, equipped with interior shelves. It fits well in a kitchen, hallway, living room, or bedroom. Restored with care in my workshop in Provence, I work under the name Une Hirondelle à l’atelier. My workshop specialises in characterful antique furniture, stemming from folk art or professional furnishings. Each piece is chosen for its authenticity, restored without altering its essence, and designed to find a place in a contemporary interior. Note: one rear leg has been recreated to make the cabinet healthier and more stable (see photo) / Stained wood on the back of the cabinet (see photo) / good structural condition, with normal signs of use for an antique piece.
