Empty curved frame

The glass itself, however, is in excellent condition with no scratches or scratches. This vintage frame called "witch's eye" is particularly distinguished by the convex or domed shape of its glass. It also stands out for its beautiful dimensions: 28.5cm in diameter and 5cm thick. But it is above all the fact that it contains nothing that makes it so interesting! The bottom of this frame is lined with black paper. This trompe-l'oeil gives a rather aesthetic mirror effect. We can therefore choose to keep it empty to maintain this effect and place this large round curved frame in a wall accumulation. It will thus take its place alongside old mirrors or other frames with curved glass. But it is also possible to open it to achieve a beautiful upcycling! To do this, we will unscrew its clip then its two plastic surrounds fixed with nails to separate the glass from the wooden base. From then on, we will take advantage of its 5cm thick convex glass to create a composition of dried flowers, to place a flock of stuffed butterflies or stick vintage figurines on it.
